Making a Purchase
Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our Catalog, and click on any items that you wish to buy and put them into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on “Order” and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to satisfy the order. Please note the minimum order is £7.50.
We accept credit card payment.
Shipping And Handling
The shipping costs will be confirmed before checkout. but here is a rough idea of shipping costs.
Orders that require special next day delivery must be placed before 2pm to ensure the next delivery option is available.
Please note Royal Mail do not consider a parcel lost until after fifteen working days for domestic post. With international deliveries, the orders that are Tracked and Insured will be refunded when Royal Mail confirms it is lost after 90 days.
We therefore are unable to give refunds until this time has passed.
Delivery Schedule
We will normally dispatch your order within 1 business day.
We send parcels through Royal Mail Monday to Friday.
Royal Mail 48 – Aims to deliver in two to three working days.
Royal Mail 24 – Aims to delivery in one to two working days.
Special Delivery Royal Mail – Guaranteed next day delivery. (Orders must be received pre 2pm to guarantee this option.)
Any delays to delivery sent through royal mail 24 or royal mail 48 cannot be guaranteed or compensated. If you require your order by a certain date, please select special delivery.
Back Orders
If your item is not in stock, we will back order for you. You will always be emailed with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait.
Tax Charges
For orders made from the UK, 20% VAT is inclusive. All other orders are VAT free and you should click the exempt button to reduce VAT to zero.
We cannot be held responsible for duties and taxes charged to the customer upon delivery. It is up to the customer when ordering to check that goods are not prohibited in their country and we will not be held responsible for any confiscations. If in doubt, please contact your local excise / customs office.

Returns Policy
At James Barber Tobacconist, we strive to ensure the quality and integrity of our products. However, if you receive an item that is faulty or defective, we are here to assist you with a smooth returns process. If you believe you have received a faulty item, please contact sales@smoke.co.uk with your order number and details of the fault.
If you wish to return an item due to a change of mind, according to the Distance Selling Regulations (DSR), you must notify us within 7 days of receiving it. The item must be unused and returned in its original packaging, ‘as new’. You have 28 calendar days from notifying us to return the item at your own expense.
Upon receipt of the item at J.N. Barber Ltd., we will issue a full refund to your original payment method. Please note that original shipping fees are non-refundable. If free shipping was used, we reserve the right to deduct our shipping costs from the refund.
Goods may only be returned with our permission. Please contact us for shipping instructions. Items returned without our consent will not be accepted. Failure to inform us within 7 days of receipt of your decision to return non-faulty goods will result in a 2% restocking fee.
We do not accept responsibility for any customs or duty charges imposed by other countries. All duty charges are the responsibility of the customer, therefore we cannot issue refunds on these charges if the order is returned to us.
