Peterson Ashford 304 Fishtail Pipe
Peterson Ashford 304 Fishtail Pipe is a smaller version of our signature flat-bottomed Oom Paul, this deeply bent design is a sturdy sitter with the comfortable posture of a bent pipe. Despite its compact size, it maintains the iconic muscularity, stout proportions, and overall antique look of our House Style.
Named after Ashford Castle, where John Ford’s The Quiet Man was filmed, the Ashford line was first introduced in 2013, originally intended as an exclusive for the Italian market. The series proved so popular, however, that we quickly made it available in the US. The line lends an air of refined and timeless sophistication to our classic shapes, characterised by dark black-over-walnut finishes, bright sterling silver mounts, and cumberland-patterned acrylic stems.
Created with more experienced smokers and collectors in mind, our Premium Classic range elevates our Classic lines with the inclusion of bright, sterling silver fitments, shaped and applied by the hands of our most experienced silversmiths. Having undergone traditional five-to-eight-year apprenticeships under a senior craftsman, our smiths are among the most talented in the world, each having engineered his own mandrel to the extent that each metal fitment is imprinted with the subtle, personal style of the one who machined it.
