With its oily, near-black wrapper, this pigtailed lonsdale finesses the palate with sweet notes of caramel, vanilla and oaky rum before intensifying with bracing bursts of ground red pepper and baking spices, all leading to a complex, truffled honey finish. The burn is even, the draw full.
