About Por Larrañaga 47

The Por Larranaga 47 cigar measures 7” (178mm) x 47 ring gauge and, although it is known as a Julieta No.2 in the factories of Cuba, most people know it simply as the “Churchill” size. This is because in the early 1950’s Romeo y Julieta produced a cigar of this size named “The Churchill” in honour of the great man. This traditional “Churchill” size is an ideal foil for the brand’s delicate blend.

Distinguishing it from other UK Regional Editions, it comes presented in Semi Boîte Nature (SBN) boxes containing fifty cigars each. Like some previous UK Regional Editions, the exterior of the box features a recreated old papeleta from the brand. A limited production of 1,500 boxes, totaling 75,000 cigars, is exclusively available in the U.K. They will be accessible the following day through the network of Las Casas del Habano, Havana Cigar Specialists, and selected hospitality venues.
