A homage to the rich history of Connecticut tobacco, Foundation Charter Oak CT Broadleaf pays tribute to Melillo’s grandfather who, while earning a modest salary working for the Winchester Repeating Arms factory after WWII, smoked exclusively Connecticut Broadleaf cigars.

The Foundation Charter Oak cigar has a Connecticut Broadleaf Maduro wrapper, a Habano Nicaraguan binder, and an all Nicaraguan filler. The cigar has notes of rich earth, natural sweetness with a medium to full smoking experience.

“I wanted to create an economy-minded, everyday smoke for connoisseurs; something tasty and delicious but didn’t break the bank”, says Melillo.
