The highly anticipated 2021 Habanos Limited Edition is the Bolivar Regentes, boasting dimensions of 5 1/8” (130mm) x 52 ring gauge. In the renowned cigar factories of Cuba, this vitola is recognized as a Discretos and is elegantly presented in special production sliding lid boxes containing 25 cigars.
Matching the size of the Partagás Maduros No.1, the Bolivar Regentes delivers a voluminous, rounded smoke to the palate. Its profile is characterized by a well-balanced combination of intense layered flavors and rich aromas, representing the powerful essence of the Bolivar brand.
All the tobacco used in crafting the Bolivar Regentes has undergone a minimum aging period of two years, a standard introduced in 2007 for all leaves destined to become Edición Limitada Habanos.
While this cigar may not be the ideal choice for beginners, its distinctive characteristics have made it highly sought after among seasoned cigar enthusiasts. Additionally, collectors are drawn to the prospect of enhancing the already robust and rich aromas by allowing the cigars to age gracefully in their collections.
About Bolivar
Simon Bolívar was one of the great historic figures of the 19th Century who liberated much of South America from Spanish rule.
The Bolívar brand was created in 1902 and is based today at the Partagás factory in the heart of Havana.
It is perhaps not surprising that a Havana brand named after such a powerful figure is blended to match his might. Bolívar is among the strongest, most full bodied of all Havanas. It boasts an unrivalled richness of flavour in its blend of Vuelta Abajo filler and binder tobaccos that
makes it one of the most sought-after marques amongst experienced smokers.
Furthermore, it is the brand of choice for enthusiasts who like strong flavours. All sizes of Bolívar are ‘tripa larga, totalmente a mano’ – long filler, totally handmade.
