Gurkha Cigars Night at James Barber Tobacconist: An Evening of Fine Cigars, Great Company, and Unforgettable Fun
On Thursday 5th September, we had the pleasure of hosting a truly exceptional evening at James Barber Tobacconist, in partnership with our good friends at Barkers of Harrogate. The Gurkha Cigars Night was a fantastic opportunity for cigar enthusiasts, both seasoned and new, to come together, indulge in premium cigars, and enjoy a night filled with camaraderie, great food, and lively entertainment.
With 45 guests in attendance, the atmosphere was warm, inviting, and full of energy. Our guests were treated to two outstanding cigars from the prestigious Gurkha brand: the Gurkha Nicaragua Series Robusto and the Gurkha Colección Especial Robusto. Both cigars provided unique and delightful smoking experiences, and it was a joy to watch everyone savoring their flavors while exchanging stories and making new connections.
The event was made even better by an excellent selection of drinks that were flowing throughout the evening, perfectly complementing the cigars. To top it off, everyone enjoyed a hearty burger, adding that extra touch to an already special night.
One of the many highlights of the evening was the live music, provided by the incredibly talented Sarah Barber, who performed a range of popular cover songs. Her music set the perfect tone for the evening, creating an ambiance that encouraged mingling and networking.
It was wonderful to see so many new faces at the event. We always enjoy welcoming newcomers into the James Barber community, and it’s fantastic to watch connections form and friendships grow. This was truly a night to remember, full of laughter, great conversations, and shared experiences.
A special thank you goes out to Barkers of Harrogate for their generous support of the event, and for providing the incredible raffle prize: a stunning Gurkha Humidor. Congratulations to Mr Schofield, the lucky winner who took home this coveted prize!
