This prestigious celebration of Cuban cigars spanned three remarkable days, filled with festivities, seminars, tastings, and a glamorous gala dinner.

A Grand Opening: Cocktail Party in Belgrave Square

The festivities kicked off on Thursday, June 20th, with an exquisite Cocktail Party held in the elegant surroundings of Belgrave Square. The evening was a delightful blend of live Cuban music, bespoke cocktails, and Ruinart Blanc de Blancs, all complemented by delectable canapés. A highlight of the night was the reintroduction of the Trinidad Robusto Extra, setting a wonderful tone for the days to come.

Insightful Discussions: Seminar & Exhibition Day

Friday, June 21st, featured a Seminar & Exhibition Day, bringing together a panel of experts from around the globe to delve into the history and current status of Trinidad cigars. The discussions on ‘Trinidad: Past & Present’ were both enlightening and engaging, providing a deeper appreciation for these exceptional cigars. Attendees were also treated to a showcase of some of the rarest Trinidad cigars ever produced, including a humidor signed by Fidel Castro.

One of the day’s highlights was the Perfect Pairing presentation by Robert Tomko and Antonios Giannousakis, two masters of Havana Cigars from Birley Cigars. Their expertise added a layer of sophistication to the event, making it a memorable experience for all participants.

A Nationwide Celebration: 55 Trinidad Tastings

Following the seminar, the celebrations continued with 55 Trinidad tastings held across all four parts of the United Kingdom. This truly national event saw over twelve hundred people come together, making it one of the largest cigar tastings ever conducted. The widespread participation highlighted the enduring popularity and appreciation for Trinidad cigars among enthusiasts.

A Glamorous Conclusion: Gala Dinner and Exclusive Launch

The remarkable three-day celebration culminated on Saturday, June 22nd, with an elegant Gala Dinner. This glamorous event provided a fitting conclusion to the Habanos World Days, exuding sophistication and style.

During the Gala, attendees witnessed the launch of the Trinidad Cabildos, a 2024 Edición Limitada, presented in the extremely rare Premier Pack. With only 10,000 numbered packs produced, each containing five Cabildos, the total production was limited to just 50,000 cigars. This exclusive release added an extra touch of prestige to the already illustrious event.
