Pipe smoking is the oldest traditional form of smoking. Archaeologists have discovered 2,400-year-old pipes in Russia. Pipes can be made of many different kinds of materials. The most common material for making a pipe is Briar wood, Erica arborea this is a shrub which grows in the Mediterranean and Africa. The second most comon material is Meerschaum but other woods such as Olive wood and Rose wood are offten used for the manufacture of pipes. We have served the pipe smoker for 150 years and have one of the largest selection of briar pipes in the UK. We specialise in Dunhill White Spot pipes with over 600 to choose from. If you do not find the pipe you require we will do our best to source it for you.
